Newsletter, November 2018

The next monthly meeting of Slough U3A will be held on Wednesday November 21st at 2 pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall, Merton Road, Slough SL1 1QW.

This month, we’ll enjoy a talk by Angela O’Connell about the National Garden Scheme. (NGS)

The NGS opens gardens in England and Wales to the public going back historically to Victorian times. Some of the most beautiful (and sometimes unknown) gardens in the country can be visited – many of them near Slough. Proceeds from the scheme are donated to charities including Macmillan and Marie Curie.
