Bridge is a lovely game which is both social and challenging.
Slough U3A have a beginner’s bridge group which is going from strength to strength and we are keen to encourage new members who wish to learn. These form part of our fortnightly Mixed Activity sessions (Table Tennis, scrabble and beginners’ bridge).
You’ll be welcome if you are a complete beginner, or if you played a few years ago and are a bit rusty. For the first few sessions, beginners will play a simplified version of the game called minibridge. Once you have got the hang of the basics, you will be able to join the more experienced players. This is an ideal opportunity to learn in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Come to the Mencap Centre, in Common Road, Langley SL3 8JU for a free try-out. Sessions take place on alternate Thursdays, from 10:30 to 12:30.
