Slough U3A has open meetings once a month; the venue is usually St Andrew’s Methodist Church Hall, Merton Road, Slough, SL1 1QW, but please check the latest monthly update in case of a change in venue
Visitors and guests are welcome at our open meetings and there is no charge. However we will ask you to become a member if you come more than once.
The meetings start at 2pm, on the third Wednesday of each month. The meeting will usually start with a few announcements, followed by a talk on a topic of general interest lasting for about three-quarters of an hour. After this, we have tea and biscuits and there is an opportunity to get to know more about the U3A and to talk to the activity group convenors.
Upcoming U3A general meetings at St Andrew’s: –
- March 20th – Art and the Making of Britain.
- April 17th – Wild Alaska
- May 15th – I’m not really old, it’s those **** tablets
