Research has shown that table tennis is one of the best activities for maintaining mental alertness and physical fitness as you age.
Slough U3A are running mixed activity sessions on alternate Thursdays starting at 10:30. Activities include:
- Table tennis
- When resting from table tennis, board games like chess and scrabble can be played.
- Our Bridge for Fun group (link) for beginners and more experienced players runs in another part of the hall at the same time.
The sessions are very informal, and beginners are welcome – we’re happy to give tuition if it’s needed.
Come to the Mencap Centre, in Common Road, Langley SL3 8JU for a free try-out. Sessions take place on alternate Thursdays, from 10:30 to 12:30
